It’s been a long while since I’ve posted anything here on Beloved Studio. Life has brought many shifts and new doors—I am beyond grateful to the Lord.
I’ll be taking more time to consistently post, but time will tell. 🙏
Season of Consecration
I’ve been taking more time in devoted worship with the Lord, diving deeper in scripture, His presence, and letting Him prune my heart like never before.
Reality is, Jesus is the song of my soul. He is the melody I can’t stop singing. Quite frankly, that’s the whole point of worship.
Jesus is meant to be the very center part of our souls. But if you’re set on the lust of the eyes and flesh—your heart is far from knowing true intimacy. If you’re set on the riches and success of living your best life—you’ve lost the meaning of life itself. And if you’re convinced that your existence is to do what feels right for you—you’ve missed the purpose of why God created you.
We were made to worship Jesus.
Worship isn’t the songs we sing in church on Sundays, or the songs we sing in private. The music and sound that emanate from our voices is the response of the true worship of our lifestyle.
Worship is A Revelation of the Gospel
Worship is a lifestyle.
Focused on God’s presence—daily.
A passionate, Spirit-led response to the revelation of Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, rather than just a musical performance.
When we are hopelessly loving Jesus without the restraints of self will and sin because we know we’ve been made free and delivered because of Christ.
It’s when we conduct every aspect of our lives and intimacy with Him in spirit and truth.
The act of surrender.
Where the worshiper becomes a master at finding Jesus in scripture.
Worship is not a genre or playlist, but a radically surrendered life of obedience before the Lord.
To worship Jesus is our created purpose. So, I ask myself and I pray you ask yourself the same: “How am I living out my purpose in reflection of devotion to Him?”
Am I truly living the life of worship to Jesus? Or is He only the songs I sing at church? Is Jesus the melody of my soul, guiding every step? Or is He just the idea of comfort when I need a safe place to hide?
Let Jesus Be The Song of Your Soul, The Heartbeat of Your Life
I want to encourage anyone reading this (including myself), let Jesus be your song. I’m not talking about the songs we sing in church or on our favorite playlists. I’m addressing the heart—the soul. If He isn’t the melody you follow in each day with careful surrender, let Him in.
Let Him be more than just your rescue when you need Him. Let Christ be the center of your devoted worship. When you have no voice, when you have no song—don’t let it stop your worship.
He deserves it all.
